Family Snowmobile Safari
A snowmobile excursion designed for the whole family. Experience the incredible adventure of driving snowmobiles in one of the most spectacular landscapes in all of Finland.
Description
Discover the beautiful wilderness nature around Ruka Ski Resort. After the safety and driving instructions of our guide, we will start the trip crossing incredible arctic landscapes between snow-covered forests and frozen lakes.
Along the way we will make some stops to take pictures, admire the beautiful winter landscapes and change drivers if you wish. During the tour we will enjoy a hot drink and Finnish pastries next to a bonfire. After the delicious picnic, we return to our starting point.
Children under 14 years of age travel in the sleigh pulled by the guide's snowmobile.
What's included?
- English-speaking expert snowmobile guide (other languages on request: Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish).
- Winter clothing (thermal suit, boots, gloves, helmet, balaclava)
- Snowmobiling 2 persons per one snowmobile
- Collision Insurance
- Hot Beverage & Snacks
- CO2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission.
- Transfers to and from your accommodation available up to 15km from the center of Ruka
Please note
- All snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driving license in Finland. Driving motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
- Please note: Price displayed is per person based on two passengers sharing a snowmobile and will swap to drive.
- Individual driving option. Supplement for individual driving €45 / person.
- Children under 14 years of age will travel in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by a guide. Minors taller than 150 cm can sit on the snowmobile as a passenger paying full adult price. E-North Safaris reserves the right to prohibit very young children under 2 years old from taking part on this tour for safety reasons (e.g bad weather or poor trails conditions).
- E-North Safaris reserves the right to cancel the tour for weather or safety reasons at any time. In this case, the client may opt for an optional excursion or receive 100% of the price paid.
- Your own liability is up to 1000€/snowmobile
- All customers will be required to provide a credit card as a deposit for the snowmobile franchise.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers.

- We suggest that you arrive at the E-North Safaris office at Rukajärventie 48G 15 minutes before departure time to participate in this activity
