Enjoy a guided walk on the back trails of Ruka Village on snowshoes. Our cultural snowshoe experience takes you on a journey into the woods at Ruka Village, you’ll learn about Northern Lights facts, the local traditions of the land and the wildlife and flora of the area.
This tour is about ensuring you get the best experience while trying to see the northern lights (Aurora Borealis). Experience delicious local cuisine at Ruka Village. Our three-course Dinner Package begins with your choice of garden salad or mushroom soup. The Mains are a choice of slow roasted smoked Salmon, or local Reindeer Steak with smoked mushroom cream sauce, along with roasted vegetables and potatoes.
We provide tips and tricks for the perfect Aurora photo, even with your own Smartphone. We also rent tripods.
