Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm
Snowmobile tour across the beautiful arctic landscapes reaching an authentic reindeer farm where you will enjoy a Finnish outdoor snack.
Description
After the safety instructions and how to drive the snowmobiles, our Adventure begins with the Snowmobile Safari through snowy forest crossing frozen lakes until we reach the reindeer farm, hidden in the forest, where the reindeer herder will be waiting for us to tell us about life with reindeers, their traditions and culture, and take us on a short sleigh ride (400m) through the magical snowy forest.
After the Reindeer Sleigh Ride, we will enjoy atraditional Finnish sausages and hot drinks, inside the warm "kota", by the campfire.
After a delicious snack, we will continue our snowmobile safari back to the starting point.
What's included?
- English-speaking expert snowmobile guide (other languages on request: Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish)
- Transfers to and from your accommodation available up to 15km from the center of Ruka
- Snowmobiling 2 persons per one snowmobile
- Collision Insurance
- CO2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission.
- Winter Clothing (Boots, suit, gloves, helmet, balaclava)
- Finnish Sausages, Hot drinks and Finnish pastries
Please note
- All snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driving license in Finland. Driving motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.

- Please note: Price displayed is per person based on two passengers sharing a snowmobile and will swap to drive.
- Individual driving option. Supplement for individual driving €45 / person.
- Children under 14 years of age will travel in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by a guide. Minors taller than 150 cm can sit on the snowmobile as a passenger paying full adult price. E-North Safaris reserves the right to prohibit very young children under 2 years old from taking part on this tour for safety reasons (e.g bad weather or poor trails conditions).
- E-North Safaris reserves the right to cancel the tour for weather or safety reasons at any time. In this case, the client may opt for an optional excursion or receive 100% of the price paid.
- Your own liability is up to 1000€/snowmobile.
- All customers will be required to provide a credit card as a deposit for the snowmobile franchise.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers.

- We suggest that you arrive at the E-North Safaris office at Rukajärventie 48G 15 minutes before departure time to participate in this activity
